Ministry Fair

A Ministry Fair is coming to LBC on August 12/13 and 19/20.

Enjoy a “midway of ministries” that will introduce you to 21 ministry areas of service, including serving opportunities from LBC as well as faith-based community organizations. 

You will also be able to enjoy some hometown fair fun, fellowship and entertainment for all ages in the Fellowship Hall.

Enjoy a ride that will last for eternity…serve!

• Get to know our 21 ministry areas of service in addition to select faith-based community organizations.
• Explore your options for service.  Ask questions and gather information about possible areas of interest.
• If you know where you want to serve, then sign-up!  We’re ready and waiting for you!
• Enjoy some home-town fair “fun and fellowship” in the Fellowship Hall, sponsored by Senior Life.
• At Lincoln Berean, we believe that service is at the heart of what it means to be a Christ follower.  You are never more like Christ than when you serve.

At Lincoln Berean Church we believe that service is more than merely volunteering or helping out.  It is more than just doing your part.  We believe that service is at the heart of what it means to be a Christ-follower.  Jesus Himself stated that He “…did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45, *NASB).

The night Jesus was to be betrayed and arrested, He stooped to wash the feet of His disciples.  He then stated,
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34, 35)  (click here for full story...)
