Chili Cook-Off

On Saturday Jan. 29, 6 judges participated in an epicurean delight, tasting 28 different chili recipes entered by members of our Berean Church family. The entries were placed into 3 categories, with ribbons for first through third winners. A grand prize trophy was awarded to Bobbi Nelsen as the overall best selection of chili.

The event was sponsored by the "Young At Hearts" group. It was a great success as approximately 500 people attended and participated in tasting and eating the different chili's.

Thank you all that came and were filled with good food, fun and fellowship.

All proceeds went to to The Nebraska Global Orphan Project, for Haiti disaster relief.
