The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. However, in this day of packed schedules and an ever-increasing pace of life, often this is exactly what life may look like. It is difficult to experience the growth God intends for you, when left in isolation. We are created with a basic need to be in community with each other.

The Biblical concept of “community” means more than mere friendship. It is a term that describes a dynamic coming together of individuals - united by a common purpose- to become more like Jesus. We encourage each person at Lincoln Berean to cultivate relationships in their life, defined by this type of interaction. We believe LifeGroups are a primary place where these types of relationships occur.

LifeGroups are small groups of people who share the desire to experience greater growth in their spiritual life - they want to become more like Jesus. While we know that LifeGroups do not automatically produce Christian growth, we believe this intimate environment can provide an atmosphere of mutual support, encouragement and accountability that will benefit each member as they seek to know God more.

LifeGroups are organized in many different ways, but the aim for every group is to be relational and missional.

Relational - every person engaged in spiritual friendships navigating life with biblical truth.

Missional - every person engaged in each one reach one with intentionality.
