Finding Your Way in Our New Facility

Are you wondering how to find things in our new facility? Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

If I have questions or need directions on the weekends where should I go?
Stop at any of our four new Information Centers to get directions or have your questions answered. There are two Information Centers (circular desks) on Level 100 just outside the auditorium, and two on Level 200, one just inside the North entrance and one outside the auditorium to the south of the grand staircase.

Where can I find a Bible to use or offering envelopes?
Bibles for use during the worship service can be picked up and returned to any Information Centers. Offering envelopes can also be obtained at the Information Centers.

What are the Welcome Centers and what happens there?
The Welcome Centers are the small nooks with the glass fronts just off the main foyers. These are designed as a first stop for visitors to come and get acquainted with LBC and to find out how to get connected into our church. The Welcome Centers are open Saturdays, 6:45-7:00 p.m. or 8:15-8:45 p.m. on Level 100 or Sundays, any time from 8:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on either level so visitors or those wishing to get connected can stop by anytime to visit with the Welcome Center staff.

How can I learn more about what happens at LBC and where the various ministries are located?
Ministry tours will be given each weekend on Saturday evenings at 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. Tours will originate at the base of the grand staircase on Level 100 by the column between the Information Centers. Please join us to learn more about the ministries of the church and the reasons why we do what we do.

Where can I pick up a sermon transcript, study questions or a CD or tape of the message?
Many of us have come to depend on the sermon resources available here at LBC. All of these resources are now available at one new Publications Center on Level 100 beside the grand staircase. Study questions for each week’s message are available there, CD’s or tapes are available immediately after each service, and transcripts of messages are available the following weekend or online. All of our sermon series are available in both print and audio formats at the Publications Center along with other printed resources.

Where can I get a cup of coffee or meet with friends or LifeGroup members to visit?
Our new Coffee House, located on Level 200, is open from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday evenings and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each Sunday. The Coffee House is available for casual conversation and informal gatherings and is equipped with Wi-Fi internet service. Our only request — please keep coffee and beverages out of the auditorium.

If I bring my child with me to the service and he/she starts to cry or disrupt others, what should I do? There is a brand new Adventureland Cry Room just outside the auditorium on Level 100. The Cry Room is designed for parents who attend the worship service with little ones and who have chosen not to use the church Nursery. Parents will find the Cry Room to be a comfortable place to sit with their child while viewing a simulcast of the worship service on a TV screen.

Does each ministry have a booth somewhere in the building? Where are the booths located?
We have five ministry booths which represent every ministry of LBC. The booths are Adult Seasons of Life/LifeGroups, Resource Ministries (Stewardship, Worship and Arts, Counseling Resources, Women’s, Men’s), Next Generation (Children, Youth, College), Serving Opportunities, and Outreach/Missions. These booths will be staffed before, during and after our weekend services. Specific questions and registration for events, activities and ministry opportunities will be handled at these booths. The ministry booths are located on Level 200 between the new auditorium and the Coffee House. In addition, we have a Spotlight booth on Level 100 by the grand staircase. This booth will host the ministry or event of the week that is featured in Life in the Loop.

Where can I get a permit to use one of the designated permit-only parking lots?
Senior adults (70+), those with handicapped/special needs or those seeking a temporary permit may obtain a permit tag from any Information Center. One-parent families with children seven and under can obtain a permit from any Information Center or at the Adventureland for Kids Ranger Station.
