Welcome to Service Expo

There is excitement in the air this weekend as we launch Service Expo 07.

Over the next two weekends, we invite you to explore the many opportunities to use your talents and fulfill your calling both inside and outside the walls of LBC. This is an opportunity to get acquainted with all LBC ministries and a select group of faith-based community organizations.

There are 23 booths showcasing these ministries (15 LBC ministries and eight faith-based community organizations). You will discover their mission, activities and opportunities for service. Folks who are involved in these ministries will be available at each booth to share what God is doing and what the needs are. They will be happy to answer your questions.

We encourage you to make time before and after the weekend services to visit each of these ministry booths and discover where God might want you to serve in our God-given mission. Take time to listen to God as you explore the possibilities for service, taking into account your talents, interests and people God has given you a passion for.

This is an event to be enjoyed by the entire family. Be sure to visit the Coffee House and step into the atmosphere of a town square in the early 1900s. Enjoy some licorice, ice cream cones and cotton candy while walking the streets and listening to live music performed in the gazebo. LBC’s Senior Life takes you back in time to a close-knit community environment exemplifying service in many areas. You’ll experience the fact that service is timeless and vital for living in the community and in the church.
