Helping our Guests
As we’re all becoming more familiar and comfortable with our new auditorium, we can now begin to focus on how we can help our guests also feel comfortable.
There are numerous people who are serving to help each of us reach the individuals that God want us to serve and help them take the next step on their spiritual journey. To help you have a better idea of the initial assimilation path at Lincoln Berean Church, this week we’re focusing on the different areas of service that help our guests. This detailing is primarily for you to know who can best help you and your guest:
TRAFFIC TEAM members likely are the first point of contact as guests come to Lincoln Berean Church. They assist guests in driving around our campus and help them in finding the closest parking spot.
As our guests enter the doors, they are greeted by the GREETING TEAM.
The RED VEST TEAM is the “mobile” arm of the Greeting Ministry. Team members are available near the Information Centers to help guests and others get where they need to go.
YELLOW VESTERS are the mobile part of Children’s Ministries. They help with safety in our children’s areas, including registration and entry into Adventureland.
WELCOME CENTERS are open Saturday evening and Sunday morning for conversation, to answer initial questions, and explain Discovery Class.Welcome Centers allow guests to step outside the stream of people and have a more personal conversation with caring hosts, and also pick up specific brochures for different seasons of life.
INFORMATION CENTERS answer specific questions about meeting locations, times and events.
BUILDING TOURS allow new people to become more comfortable with the general layout of our facility, and also learn about our mission and the purpose for different areas. Thirty-minute tours are available Saturday evenings at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m.
DISCOVERY CLASS is the essential learning environment to understand LBC’s values, history, distinctives and mission. It is an eight-week class that allows new folks to meet several pastors and others in their season of life. It is the best starting point to learn about LBC! The next session of Discovery Class will begin Saturday evening, June 16, or Sunday morning, June 17.
ADULT SEASONS OF LIFE booth is the place to register for classes and to get more information about connecting with a LifeGroup. The booth is located just outside the auditorium doors on Level 200.
