Each One...Invite One

It’s hard to believe but Easter is just two weeks away, March 23rd.

Preparations are underway for our Easter weekend services, Saturday, March 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 23 at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m.

We’ll be celebrating the greatest victory ever won, the victory of Jesus over sin and death, and the new life found in Him. Pastor Clark will be answering the question, “Did Jesus Rise from the Dead?” and we’ll share another powerful life change story in addition to a great time of worship.

We want to encourage you to invite friends, neighbors, co-workers and family members to join you for this special Easter celebration. Almost everyone is open to attending a worship service on Easter weekend so don’t be hesitant to ask folks to join you.

In order to give you time to spend with those you bring and introduce them to others, we’ll be serving refreshments following the service on Saturday evening, and a light continental breakfast from 8:30-11:30 on Sunday morning. There will be no adult classes on this weekend so you can be with the ones you invite. We would ask that many of us consider coming to the

7:00 p.m. Saturday evening service or the 9:00 a.m. Sunday service as we anticipate a full house particularly at 10:45 a.m.

For the six weeks following Easter we’ll be doing a special series entitled “Life after Death”. This series will seek to answer the many questions people have about what happens when we die. We’ve printed some simple invitation cards for you to use to invite people back for this series. These cards are available at all the Information Centers and the Coffeehouse tables.

Easter Weekend Did Jesus rise from the dead?

March 29/30 Is there life after death?

April 5/6 What Happens 60 seconds after you die?

April 12/13 What about judgment, rewards and punishment?

April 19/20 What is Heaven like? (part 1)

April 26/27 What is Heaven like? (part 2)

May 3/4 Why does Heaven matter today?

Please pray with us that many people will meet Jesus for the first time during these coming days and that God will do a renewing and maturing work in all of us. As we seek to live out the “Each One, Reach One” value, ask God to show you who to invite and how He wants you to serve and love them. Pray that nothing would stand in the way of their coming to join you, and be prepared to share your faith story when asked. Let’s see what God will accomplish as we live for His purposes in these next weeks and beyond.
