The Season of Giving
Soon, you will likely be untangling Christmas lights, unpacking decorations and enjoying moments of fellowship with family and friends.
As we near this season of celebration, we are overcome with hope - the savior we so desperately needed — has come. A child born in Bethlehem more than two thousand years ago, would later become the savior of the world, Jesus. An ultimate gift and sacrifice that illustrates God’s never ending love for you and me.
We live in a neighborhood, community and world in desperate need of a savior. Some of our neighbor’s children go home from school hungry, cannot read or are homeless. Others are in bondage to the many empty promises this world offers. They deeply desire something more that only God’s love can satisfy. We are called to reach out and share His love and hope with others.
As you open this special issue of Life in the Loop, there are many opportunities to give to others in significant ways. Your giving may be in the form of time, prayer or a special financial gift. Consider the ways God may be calling you to reach out and help others this Christmas season.
