Safety First For Our Children

In the past few weeks we have been reminded that our children live in a dangerous world, one that many times is hostile to our families.

Please be assured that we at Lincoln Berean take very seriously the safety and welfare of your children.

Recently, in the desire to enhance our security, we have begun locking the south entrance door in the A-wing so that it is an exit only.  We have also done this in the lower level C-wing for the same reason.  We have increased the presence of our Kidz Zone workers to observe and monitor halls and classrooms for people that may seem out of place.  We have a law enforcement officer in the building with a pager in the unexpected case of needing quick emergency assistance.  On Wednesday nights we have limited the building access to the main north entrance in order to monitor the traffic coming in and out of the building.

Please be assured that we as Children’s Ministries staff will continue to do all we can to create a safe environment so that you and your family can focus on what you come to church for – the spiritual and relational growth of your families.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
