Equipping LifeGroups with Opportunities

LifeGroup leaders agree that there is a clear desire to serve in the community; however, people don’t know who to call or even where to begin.

The Community Service Ministry provides a liaison between LifeGroups and organizations by listing service opportunities in the community. Opportunities are listed on the projects page with all the necessary information you need to schedule service projects for your LifeGroup.

The list of opportunities is organized in such a way that your LifeGroup may be able to schedule a time to serve on the night it normally meets.

Service Helps You and Your LifeGroup
As a LifeGroup leader, you are concerned about the spiritual development of those in your group, as well as your own spiritual walk. One of the finest ways to cultivate spiritual growth is to serve the less fortunate in your community.

Service Helps Your Community
The faith-based and non-profit organizations that serve the less fortunate are continuously strained to meet their objectives while operating on a limited budget. Providing human resources for these organizations allows them to focus more of their energy toward their primary mission.

Service Helps Your Lord
Not that God needs help, but it glorifies His name for people to see Christians in the humble act of service in helping others. Furthermore, service opportunities afford the opportunity to interact and share the Good News with people who need to hear it most desperately.
