Children's Ministries

Adventureland for Kids
Director Supervise all Adventureland staff organization and oversight. Volunteer
Information Booth Captain Supervises booth responsibilities, including attendants and runners, as well as information and publicity (brochures, pictures, videos, and information packets). This position is also responsible for the d!"cor/atmosphere of the booth and A-Wing. Volunteer
Registration Captain (future) Oversees a second booth specifically for registration and security for Children s Ministries. This booth will be strategically located for this purpose in the A-wing. Volunteer
Booth Attendant Works in the Ranger booth giving information and direction to children and parents. Volunteer
Runner Works from the Ranger booth and is available to escort visitors and their parents to the proper classrooms and take messages from departments during services. Volunteer

Special Education
Director Supervises all staff and programming in the Special Education Ministry. Volunteer
Teachers Implements programs organized by the Director. Volunteer
Helpers Helps teachers in working with the children. These can be peer models as well as adults. Volunteer
Buddy System Director Organizes and implements the Buddy System program. (This is a program where there is a one-on-one person with a child that has special needs who is in regular classes.) Volunteer
Buddy A person who is one-on-one with a child who has special needs in the classroom. (There is no class preparation.) Volunteer

Nursery/Walker Department
Department Coordinator General administration and organization of Nursery/Walker Department. Volunteer
Assist. Coordinator Assists the Coordinator with respective responsibilities. Volunteer
Bible Words Teacher Teaches Bible-based lessons around tables using songs, interactive objects, and activity. Volunteer
Health Care Coordinator Oversees health care policies and schedules health care workers. Volunteer
Health Care Worker Assists in checking-in infants and addressing any health concerns. Volunteer
Check-In Worker Responsible to oversee nursery/walker room and greet/assist parents. Volunteer
Worker Caring for infants by rocking, feeding, cleaning, and holding. Volunteer
Laundry Worker Responsible to wash sheets, blankets, and toys. Volunteer

Preschool Department (2-year-olds through kindergarten)
Department Coordinator Directs the administration and organization of department, including recruitment and training of workers. Volunteer
Hour Leader Plan and organize the specific hour for care and teaching. Volunteer
Secretary Greet and meet parents and check-in/check-out each child. Volunteer
Table Helper Works with the children during play time, story time, and crafts. Volunteer
Story Teacher Teaches the Bible story to the children. Volunteer
Song Leader Organizes and leads the children in a short song time. Volunteer
Musical Accompaniment Ability to play piano and/or guitar to accompany song time. Volunteer
Bulletin Board/Visual Aids Design bulletin boards and visual aids to enhance teaching. Volunteer
Materials Coordinator Prepares materials each quarter. Volunteer

Elementary Grades 1-3
Department Coordinator Plan and organizes total program for the specific department. Volunteer
Room Leade Leads four table groups in room activities with provided curriculum. Volunteer
Table Leader Responsible for a small group of children, assisting them in their work and providing a caring relationship. Volunteer
Music Leader Selects the music for group singing and creates actions; recruits and encourages student abilities and participation in music. Volunteer
Clean-up Helper Helps clean up rooms during and after third hour. Volunteer

Elementary Grades 4-5
PACK Ministry Leader Organize and administrate the church s Sunday school education of 5-6th grade students and shepherd ministry workers. Volunteer
Table Leader Responsible for a small group of students; teaching and discussing the lesson; building relationships with each group member and their families; participates on a Teaching Team. Volunteer
Worship Leader Lead the worship time, maximizing student participation and worship. Volunteer
Teaching Team Leader During certain periods of time (i.e., summer), teaching teams are used in additional to or instead of table-led teaching. The Teaching Team provides leadership for one of these teams. Volunteer
Sound Coordinator Responsible for the sound system in the PACK room using the 5-6th grade students whenever possible Volunteer

E-Corps 6th Grade
Ministry Leader Organize and administrate the church s Sunday school education of 6th grade students and shepherd ministry workers. Volunteer
Table Leader Responsible for a small group of students; teaching and discussing the lesson; building relationships with each group member and their families; participates on a Teaching Team. Volunteer
Worship Leader Lead the worship time, maximizing student participation and worship. Volunteer

Junior High Liaison This position provides leadership in preparation for the 6th grade student s transition into junior high. Volunteer
Tech Coordinator Responsible for the sound and PowerPoint system using the 6th grade students whenever possible. Volunteer

Vacation Bible School
Director Responsible for planning and organizing the total VBS program. Volunteer
VBS Committee Members responsible for specific areas involved with the total VBS program. Volunteer
Department Director Responsible for planning and organizing the activities, schedule, and decorations for a specified age group. Volunteer
Bible Teacher Prepares and teaches the daily Bible lesson. Volunteer
Decorating Responsible for room and hallway decorations according to the curriculum theme. Volunteer
Song Leader Plans and leads the song time for the general assembly . Volunteer
Craft Coordinator Plans and prepares daily craft projects for all departments, and organizing supplies and workers. Volunteer
Craft Workers Helping the children complete the daily craft projects. Volunteer
Table Leaders Leading small groups of children in discussion of the lesson and/or in completion of a provided handbook. Volunteer
Recreation Leader Plans and executes the recreation time for each department Volunteer
Nursery Care Nursery care for VBS helpers. Volunteer
Kitchen Help Organizes refreshments for all who attend. Volunteer
Closing Event Coordinator Plans and organizes all activities of the closing event. Volunteer
Closing Event Food Service Coordinator Orders, prepares, and serves food for the closing event. Volunteer
Closing Event Entertainment Coordinator Plans and organizes entertainment for the closing event. Volunteer
Closing Event Set-up/Clean-up Coordinator Organizes set-up and clean-up of the closing event. Volunteer

Wednesday Night - All Stars 1-2nd grades
Club Leader Plans and organizes the program. Volunteer
Assistant Leader Assists the leader. Volunteer
Secretary Works with the club leaders in ordering materials and keeping records. Volunteer
Lesson Teacher Prepares and tells the weekly story. Volunteer
Table Leader Oversees a table of 5-8 children, assisting in handbook, verses, and playtime. Volunteer
Worship Leader Selects and leads the group in singing. Volunteer
Game Leader Leads the children in 5-15 minutes of simple stretches and movements. Volunteer
Craft Coordinator Organizes and prepares the craft/handwork for children. Volunteer

Wednesday Night - AWANA (Grades 3-6)
Commander Responsible for the administration of the program, and recruitment and training of club directors. Volunteer
Assistant Commander Shares duties with the Commander. Volunteer
General Secretary Works with the commander and Club Secretaries in ordering materials and keeping records. Volunteer
Club Director Leads an age-graded club; plans and organizes the program, recruits, trains and shepherds the helpers. Volunteer
Worship Leader Leads children in worship. Volunteer
Speaker Brings a Bible lesson to AWANA children. Volunteer
Club Secretary Keeps weekly records of clubbers work and material; submits orders for awards to General Secretary. Volunteer
Game Leader Plans and organizes weekly AWANA games. Volunteer
Small Group Leader Assists each clubber in their group with handbooks, council, and game time (3 half-hour segments). Volunteer
Verse Listeners Assists in listening to individual verses. Volunteer

Junior Camp (Maranatha Bible Camp)
Camp Facilitator Plans, organizes, and recruits program staff serves as liaisons between staff, camp staff and campers. Oversees recruitment of cabin leaders. Volunteer
Medical Team Leader Organizes and administers all medical needs of campers, including prescribed drugs. Volunteer
Missionaries Present the missions message in coordination with camp theme. Volunteer
Music Leader Lead the worship and music in coordination with the camp theme, and be responsible for the sound system. Volunteer
Program Coordinator Responsible for coordination of music, theme, speaker, and skits, as well as the sound, lighting, and environment chapel. Volunteer
Cabin Leader Leads a small group of campers to know God and grow deeper in Him. Volunteer
Skills Leader Organize campers in the skill areas offered by the camp. Volunteer
Speaker Presenting the Bible message to the campers during the worship sessions, in coordination with the theme. Volunteer

Resource Room
Resource Room Volunteer Supply the necessary equipment and/or supplies that are needed and available when requested. Volunteer
Equipment Manager Maintain media equipment. Volunteer
VBS Crafts Help with VBS preparation and clean-up. Volunteer
Resource/Storage Maintenance Weekly organizing the Resource Room and keeping the storage rooms organized and clean. Volunteer
Sign Designer Create signs for various ministries Volunteer
Bulletin Board Decorate bulletin boards through the building. Volunteer
Purchasing Assists with the purchasing of various supplies, as needed. Volunteer

Child Care

Child Care Team Leader Works directly with the Child Care Coordinator and provides leadership in recruiting, organizing and scheduling Child Care Team Members. Volunteer
Child Care Team Member Child care volunteer for various church activities and programs; works under the supervision of the Child Care Team Leader. Volunteer
