Worship Arts Ministries

Worship Teams
Worship Team Vocal Consideration will be given to capacity (ability), chemistry (with the team), character. Will accompany worship team during weekend services, with scheduled practice times after completing pathway process. Volunteer
Worship Team Instrumentalists Consideration will be given to capacity (ability), chemistry (with the team), character. Will accompany worship team during weekend services, with scheduled practice times after completing pathway process. Volunteer
Worship Team Service Producers Time rehearsals, assist with staging, call all cues for rehearsals and services. Volunteer
Administrative Volunteer Assist office help with administrative needs for weekend services and special events. Volunteer

Communion Team
Coordinator Provides leadership in organizing, planning, and recruiting for communion. Volunteer
Team Leader Trains and assists in the organization and preparation of the communion elements. Volunteer
Team Member Assists in the preparation of the communion elements for all services. Volunteer

Usher Team
Head Usher Responsible for the organization, scheduling, recruitment, and procedures of the usher teams. Volunteer
Team Captain Responsible for their team of ushers in training, scheduling, and communication. Volunteer
Usher Ushers maintain our worship atmosphere by providing direction to the congregation and assisting in the service when necessary, i.e. offering, communion, for all services and special events. Ushers work on a rotating schedule. Volunteer

Baptism Team
Team Coordinator Responsible for organization, procedures, and scheduling of the baptism team. Volunteer
Team Members These team members assist the baptismal candidates prior to and after baptism. Volunteer

Aesthetics Team
Leadership Team Leader Administrate and coordinate upcoming projects; possess people-skills to provide leadership in planning with the Team. Volunteer
Leadership Team Member A team player in planning the aesthetic needs of the interior areas of the church building. Volunteer
Project Leader Oversees a planned project to its completion. Volunteer
Project Helper Assists with hands-on work to see a project to completion. Volunteer
Floral Designer Possesses experience in creating floral arrangements. Volunteer
Decorating/Interior Designer Provides professional knowledge to the Leadership Team in the elements and principles of design. Volunteer
Seamstress Ability to sew various items, from banners to stage skirts, etc. Volunteer
Aesthetics Maintenance Maintains the established look of the public spaces, especially before the services; overseeing that everything is in place. Volunteer

Visual Arts
Leadership Team Member Serves on a team which plans and implements all aspects of the Visual Arts activities. Volunteer
Administrative Coordinator Serves on the Leadership Team; organizes and implements the plans of the Team. Volunteer
Curriculum Coordinator Serves on the Leadership Team; plans workshops and classes throughout the year in coordination with the teachers involved. Volunteer
Workshop Teacher Teaches a workshop or class in the Visual Arts, or demonstrates a technique and/or speaks to a group for their enrichment. Volunteer
Gallery Coordinator Serves on the Leadership Team; oversees the displays of artwork throughout the church by coordinating with the artists and the facility staff. Volunteer
Gallery Helper Assists the Gallery Coordinator with the installations of art displays throughout the church. Volunteer
KidzArt Coordinator Plans art displays and activities specifically for children, coordinating with the Curriculum Coordinator and the Gallery Coordinator. Volunteer
Storage Room Coordinator Makes purchases; keeps inventory of Visual Arts supplies; organizes and maintains the supplies and equipment in a designated storage area. Volunteer
Special Event Coordinator Serves on the Leadership Team; plans and implements events for the visual artists of the church, i.e., speakers, meals, field trips, outreach events. Volunteer
Community Liaison Serves on the Leadership Team; keeps abreast of other artists and art organizations in other churches as well as the Lincoln community and beyond; represents LBC and the Leadership Team to establish and grow a Christian witness in the community. Volunteer
Photographer/Videographer Serves in the area of photography/video production. Volunteer
3-Dimensional Art Possessing talent or interest in the areas of ceramics, sculpture, fiber art, carving, etc. Volunteer
Graphic Design/Web Design Assisting in publication and publicizing. Volunteer
Drawing/Painting Possessing talent or interest in the area of 2-dimensional media. Volunteer
Lettering/Calligraphy Possessing talent or interest in the area of lettering/calligraphy. Volunteer

Video Team
Video Productions Edit video projects for the various ministries. Knowledge of editing software is beneficial Volunteer
Camera Operator Operate cameras used for live broadcast and recording during services and special events. Volunteer
Video Switcher Receive instructions from Video Director to fade camera shots and set sound levels. Volunteer
Video Director Call camera shots and coordinate video needs for services and special events. Volunteer

Sound Team

 Volunteer
Sound Tech Responsible for sound system for services, special events, and practices/rehearsals. Volunteer
Setup Crew Set and strike the stage for rehearsals, services, and special events. Volunteer
Sound Leader for 5-6th Graders Provide leadership, training, and assistance in setting up and taking down the sound system, and operating the sound board for 5-6th grade worship time. Training is provided. Volunteer
Sound Leader for Junior High Provide leadership, training, and assistance for junior high tech teams during worship times and other functions. Training will be provided. Volunteer
Sound Leader for Senior High Provide leadership, training, and assistance for senior high tech teams during worship times and other functions. Training will be provided. Volunteer

Lighting Team
Lighting Technician Create lighting designs and operate the lighting board for services, special events, and practices/rehearsals. Volunteer

PowerPoint
Projection Technician Create song slides and operate video projection equipment during services and special events. Volunteer

Tape Room
Tape/CD Duplication Technician Operate recording equipment for worship services and special events. Make and sell copies of these recordings. Volunteer

Maintenance
System Technician Perform regular maintenance and repairs on technical systems. Basic electronics and troubleshooting skills are preferable, but training can be provided as needed. Technicians can serve when the equipment is available and when it is convenient for them. Some technicians will also serve on Sunday mornings as troubleshooters throughout the building. Volunteer
