Young Adults

Young Adults consists of individuals from varied backgrounds and distinct life situations who are united by their common pursuit of God and their desire to grow towards completeness in Christ.

We believe God is alive and at work in peoples' lives so they would become like His Son, Jesus Christ, in their values and character. Because of this truth, we find comfort knowing that no matter where we are or where we have been in life, God accepts and meets us as we are.

In our ministry, we have two priorities which we think are critical for living out God's unconditional acceptance of people and encouraging Christ-directed life change. We value authentic community in which people are accepted as they are but encouraged to become more like Christ.

Get Involved...

The starting point at LBC for all attenders is the Discovery Class. Following that step, individuals are directed toward a LifeGroup connection. We encourage you to be part of our two major areas for growth: the weekend Worship Service and LifeGroups. The LifeGroup is essential to our ministry, and all of our connecting activities flow into and from LifeGroups.

LifeGroups

Every ministry at LBC is focused around the universal need we all have for healthy relationships, which begins with God Himself. Right friendships will help us grow, utilize our gifts and abilities, and discover resources to help us in the midst of our season of life.

The primary means to connect to others in our season of life is through LifeGroups, which are led by trained individuals or couples with a passion to meet regularly and grow with others in a comfortable, safe, and grace-oriented environment.

Our small groups are organized by age and gender so that people with similar life experiences and challenges can be together. We value a clear, relevant presentation of God's Word that always includes specific application.
