Cynci reminds us of the power of prayer as she heads to India.
Hello friends,
Thank you for praying. We said goodbye to our precious little boys yesterday and now we are here, in the middle of a plane, flying over the ocean, on our way to Hong Kong.
We met up with the rest of our team in Denver without any problems. Really, things have been pretty smooth so far. I'm finding the trip to be a bit like being pregnant this time.... the first time you're pregnant, it's all pretty fascinating; the next time you think, "Ow, I'm kind of sore. I hope this baby comes soon!" Let's just say, I hope we get to India soon!
Actually, things really have been great. I had some sweet unhurried time with the Lord a bit ago as everyone slept. Trips like this really are helpful in renewing perspective and remembering what's really important. It's my prayer that God would use us on this trip, but that He would also use this trip on us.
Pretty amazing that you can pray for us and us for you from halfway around the world. I couldn't sleep at one point, and then I realized it was the time my boys would be getting ready for school back home. So here I was praying for them, as they ate their little bowls of cereal and got their jackets on and (hopefully) got out the door. Our prayers make a difference...please know again how thankful we are for you.
Love to you--
Cynci (& Jeff)
