Who We Are

Our purpose is to glorify God by seeking to present every person complete in Christ.

And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom that we may present every man complete in Christ.

And for this purpose I labor, striving according to His power which mightily works within me.

-Col. 1:28,29

Our passion is not buildings or numbers. Our passion is Jesus Christ our Savior and His glory. Our passion drives our purpose. The very purpose for our existence is to seek to introduce people to Jesus and see them presented complete in Christ. When people are presented complete in Christ, God is glorified, thus accomplishing our purpose.

The People Loop

Our strategy for accomplishing our purpose is best illustrated by a loop we call the People Loop. Those who know Christ as Savior go out and represent Christ in their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and families. From that, others come to know Christ as Savior and are brought into the church to be encouraged and built up in their faith. They then go out and represent Christ, and the multiplying process continues. This process creates the People Loop.

Primary Environments

Corporate worship
We believe corporate worship should be a priority in the life of every believer. Therefore, we believe our worship together, as a church family, should be a high priority for all believers at LBC.

Small Groups
We realize the corporate worship environment does not provide all that is necessary for spiritual growth. Therefore, we also urge people to consider joining a small group, referred to as a LifeGroup. LifeGroups are a primary source of connection and discipleship at LBC, and are formed on the basis of your season of life. We also offer a wide variety of support and recovery groups.
