The Purpose
For this Purpose I Live
This campaign is not about buildings - it's about people. It's about having adequate space to accomplish the purpose of presenting people complete in Christ.

In Colossians 1:28 the Apostle Paul states that presenting people complete in Christ is the purpose of his life. This is what he labors for. This is what he lives for. So should it be for us. There is no higher calling on our lives than to accomplish the eternal purpose of presenting people complete in Christ.
It would be our prayer that this campaign would serve as a catalyst to bring every person who calls LBC home to the point of saying, "For this purpose I live." That our time, money and talents would ultimately be dedicated to the purpose of presenting every person complete in Christ. These next three years could very well see the most significant work of God in our midst in our 40-year history.

Defining and living our purpose
Don't miss this chance to be a part of a special moving of God's hand. This isn't simply about money; it's about what each of us is going to ultimately live for in the brief time we have on this earth. Will we live for that which is here today and gone tomorrow, or will we invest in that which is eternal? It will be our goal over the next three years to get everyone at LBC living for that which lasts. There is no hidden agenda in this campaign. We're putting our goal on the table. This campaign is about defining and living our purpose in life.
We ask you to prayerfully consider how God would have you be involved in this step of faith to accomplish the purpose. Our prayer is that you would do exactly what God calls you to do, no more and no less. This will be a time for each of us to ask the hard questions and seek to get our lives in alignment with what we say we believe. Let's be on our knees asking God to do exceedingly more than we could ask or think for His glory (Eph. 3:20,21). Then let's boldly step out by faith for what may be one of our most significant and life-changing experiences.
