We believe that when our hearts are oriented towards Jesus from a place of true worship; the way we spend, give, and love will radically change.

Our desire is that this season will celebrate our King and bring hope to a hurting world.

Rather than getting caught up in the busyness of this season, let’s schedule intentional times to pause and remember how incredible it is that God is with us.

Excitement, anticipation, hope—each of these emotions swell around the object of our dearest affection. Consider what you’re spending your time and energy on.

Here are a few ideas of ways to intentionally spend your time this season:

  • Pick up our Advent devotional booklet in the foyers and participate in the daily readings.
  • Read the Christmas story with your kids while setting up the nativity.
  • For one night, unplug from all technology and social media. In a world full of noise, be intentional about quiet time.
  • Turn the radio off in the car and spend 10 minutes thanking God for the ways He’s blessed you.
  • Create space between your planned events and activities this season, and be on the lookout for the interruptions or opportunities God invites you into.

What if we intentionally spend these four weeks of Advent in ways that make this Christmas more meaningful to us and to those around us?
