Even after attending Lincoln Berean for a few years, Mike and Jodi were struggling to feel connected due to the size of the church. Despite not feeling qualified, Jodi courageously decided to volunteer at VBS. She never imagined how one week and a group of crazy kids could change everything, but it gave her energy and new life. Jodi and Mike’s marriage was hitting a rough patch around that time, and Jodi believed that serving together in Children’s Ministry could breathe energy and new life into their marriage as well.
