Nursery Refresh Begins This Week

Posted June 29, 2026 — Lincoln Berean

The next phase of our Facilities Refresh project begins the week of June 29 as work gets underway in the nursery! We are looking forward to creating a more functional, welcoming, and visually refreshed space for our littlest ones, their families, and the volunteers who faithfully care for them each week.

Things to Know:

There will be no Kids programming during the July 4–5 weekend, giving our faithful volunteers a well-deserved summer break.

Starting Sunday, July 12, the nursery and walkers will temporarily move to rooms A207 and A215 while work continues in the current nursery space. This temporary move could extend an extra weekend or two.

During this phase, the nursery will receive:

  • A more functional check-in desk layout
  • Additional storage for diapers, diaper bags, and other supplies
  • New carpet
  • Fresh paint
  • Ceiling repairs and improvements

These updates will help address some of the current challenges in the space while creating a more functional and inviting environment for children, families, and volunteers.

As the project progresses, we will share updates about any additional weekend changes that may affect spaces in our building. Thank you for your flexibility as we work to improve these important ministry spaces!

Wouldn’t it be amazing to end our current refresh project with all bills paid, and have funds in place for the next phase of facility improvements? That is what we are praying for!

If, in addition to your normal General Fund giving, you would like to participate in giving toward the current refresh project as well as future facilities projects that are already being discussed, you can use the giving widget below. You can also make a gift by designating “Purpose Fund” on your check and/or giving envelope.
